New Orleans Showroom Needs Help With Commercial Water Damage

This showroom in New Orleans had commercial water damage from a plumbing issue. SERVPRO technicians arrived quickly to extract the water. The hardwood flooring had a large amount of water absorption. The technicians used their moisture detection equipment to determine the actual scale of the loss and set up tenting over the boards using plastic sheeting. This method is to force the warm, dry airflow from the drying equipment into the boards. While the dehumidification equipment captures the moisture as it rises and ports it away. Fortunately most of the contents in the shop could get dried in place which made the process to reopen even faster.
